1. Introduction

Welcome to Founders In Tech (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, purchasing tickets, enrolling in programmes, or becoming a member, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our website or services.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the website, including without limitation visitors, members, programme participants, and event attendees.

2. Services Provided

Founders In Tech offers entrepreneurship programmes, events, memberships, digital resources, and related services aimed at supporting founders, startups, and tech entrepreneurs. All services are subject to availability and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at our discretion.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services or participate in our programmes and events. By agreeing to these terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

4. User Accounts

To access certain services, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Ensuring all information provided is accurate and up to date

  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Fees & Payments

All prices for our programmes, memberships, event tickets, and services are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.

6. Refund Policy

Strict No Refund Policy:
All payments made for programmes, event tickets, memberships, and any other services are non-refundable.
This includes:

  • Programme enrolments (online or in-person)

  • Event tickets

  • Membership subscriptions

  • Digital resources or downloads

Once payment is received, you are deemed to have confirmed your purchase. No exceptions will be made unless required by applicable law.

7. Membership Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your membership at any time by accessing your account settings on the Founders In Tech website.

  • Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • You will retain access to membership benefits until the end of your billing cycle.

  • No partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of the membership.

If you fail to cancel before the next billing date, your subscription will automatically renew and payment will be due.

8. Event Attendance & Conduct

By attending our events, you agree to:

  • Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully

  • Follow all event guidelines and instructions from organisers
    We reserve the right to remove attendees who engage in disruptive, harmful, or unlawful behaviour without compensation or refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Founders In Tech, including but not limited to text, graphics, videos, course materials, event recordings, and branding, is the property of Founders In Tech and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Founders In Tech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in programmes, events, or use of our services.

 

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Founders In Tech, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your breach of these Terms and Conditions or misuse of our services.

12. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

 

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
